The Class of 1978 is just part of a bigger network. Fort Dodge High has graduates worldwide.Helping to bond us together is the Fort Dodge Senior High Alumni Association. The organization started several years ago, yet many graduates don't know about it.
It costs $10 a year to join and in return, you'll get a quarterly newsletter full of features about graduates and updates about activities surrounding FDSH. Your $10 goes toward a good cause, including to help fund scholarships for FDSH graduates.
Memberships can be obtained by sending your name, address, graduation year and a check for $10 to Fort Dodge High School Alumni Association, P.O. Box 493, Fort Dodge, Iowa, 50501. If your married and your spouse is a FDSH grad, the $10 will cover you both.
Dennie Friederichs, a Fort Dodge High graduate and former wrestling coach at Iowa Central, tells us the alumni association hopes to have a website up soon.
